Al Ahly coach identifies key weapon to dismantle Sundowns

Al Ahly coach Marcel Koller has identified a key weapon that he believes can help his team dismantle Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of the African Football League [AFL] semi-final clash.

The Red Devils will welcome Bafana Ba Style for the second leg of the CAF AFL at Cairo International Stadium tonight.

The much-anticipated mouthwatering showdown will start at 20:00 [SA time].

Al Ahly succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to Masandawana in the first leg of the AFL semi-final encounter at Loftus Versfeld Stadium over the weekend. Thanks to Thapelo Maseko‘s solo goal on the day.

As things stands, the Brazilians have an advantage going into the second leg, whereas Koller and his boys will be gunning to bounce back stronger from the one goal deficit.

‘WE KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH TOUGH SITUATIONS’

Meanwhile, Al Ahly shot-stopper Mohamed El Shenawy stated that they know how to deal with “tough situations” as his side has players with a lot of experience.

“We know how to deal with tough situations and we have the experience needed for the big matches,” added El Shenawy.

However, Rulani Mokwena and his troops know that nothing comes on a silver platter, as they aim to defend their lead and cause an upset for Al Ahly on their turf.
