Jamie Webber makes honest admission about his career progression
Sekhukhune United midfielder Jamie Webber has made an honest admission about his career progression in football.
Webber joined Sekhukhune ahead of the 2023/24 season coming from Tshwane side SuperSport United.
The talented midfield engine hit the ground running with the Polokwane side despite the team struggling for form and consistency this season.
Webber has always performed at his best, giving his all each time he’s on the field of play. So far this season, he has made 11 appearances in all competitions for Babina Noko.
To add, he has been active in the final third, being directly involved in five goals. He has scored three goals and provided two assists.

According to the 25-year-old, he’s still far from reaching his full potential. He’s learning in each game he plays to reach his best level in football.
“Very, very far, there’s always room for improvement. I don’t feel like I’m the best in football,” said Webber.
“Football is a learning game, we always learning and we always have new things to learn, you never know everything.
“So, whether it’s from PSL or from Europe, I’m always watching football to learn new things.”

Webber further credited his teammates for his good start with the Polokwane outfit.
“It’s my teammates that I can appreciate because they gave me the freedom that I would like on the field.
“They give me the freedom to make good decisions. With that type of freedom, I can only do better and help them.”
Webber is in line to feature when Sekhukhune take on TS Galaxy in the Carling Knockout Cup quarter-finals on Saturday. The match takes place at Peter Mokaba Stadium at 8 pm.
