AmaZulu FC head coach Pablo Franco Martin has revealed what has made him heave a huge sigh of relief recently with his side.
Usuthu seem to have upped their gears somewhat as they havenโt lost a match in their last four games across all competitions.
They are in the Carling Knockout Cup last four after brushing Golden Arrows 3-0 on Saturday in the quarter-finals. They have been pitted against TS Galaxy in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, they lie ninth on the DStv Premiership standings with 12 points after ten matches.
Martin says heโs happy theyโre starting to have solutions to their goal-scoring issues. He feels the return of Junior Dion from injury a few weeks ago gave them a huge boost.
The Ivorian striker has scored five goals in six games he has played, both in the league and the Carling Knockout.
PABLO FRANCO MARTIN RELIEVED AS AMAZULU CAN SCORE NOW
โWe have been talking about this many times for the ones who have been following this team from the beginning,โ said Martin in the press conference.
โFootball has no secrets when you have players who are capable of making the difference in the opposite box, youโre closer to winning.

โAnd that happened today [on Saturday when they beat Arrows 3-0], he [Junior Dion] is getting the chances and heโs converting. We missed him in the first games of the season, but now heโs back again from the injury.
โItโs easy for us to achieve our targets.โ
Martin feels their forwards have gained more confidence because of the goals theyโve scored recently. Heโs hoping they will hit the back of the net even more.
โITโS GOOD FOR OUR CONFIDENCEโ
โI am really happy, especially because we need to feel that we can convert those chances when we are creating them,โ he added
โI think itโs good for our confidence, especially for the confidence of the attacking players, itโs going to be good because we will score goals.โ
