THE TWO PROBLEMS BAFANA BAFANA MIGHT HAVE AHEAD OF WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS

Broos confirmed that Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Grant Kekana and Thapelo Maseko might be replaced due to injuries sustained over the weekend. The pair featured for Sundowns when they played against Wydad Athletic in the final of the African Football League [AFL].

Bafana Ba Style defeated the Moroccan side 3-2 on aggregate. The mouthwatering showdown took place at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Sunday, as Masandawana won the historic inaugural AFL title.

Broos divulged that they are awaiting medical reports for the two players and a decision will be taken from there.

The Belgian mentor was speaking during the Bafana press conference at Tuks HPC on Monday afternoon.

“We have two problems, we’re waiting for the medical report for Kekana and Maseko. I’m a little bit anxious, I’m afraid that I will have to replace them, ” said Broos.

“Once we have the medical report and we know exactly what we can expect from the two players, we will make a decision whether they will stay with us or whether we have to look for other players.”

HUGO BROOS REFUSES TO REVEAL PLAYERS THAT MIGHT REPLACE KEKANA AND MASEKO
