The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has announced the monthly awards winners for August and September/October.
Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena is amongst the winners of the latest PSL awards.
The 36-year old tactician has been named the DStv Premiership Coach of the Month of August 2023.
Mokwena had perfect start to the 2023/24 season as he guided his side to six wins in August.
Masandawana had an impressive run that saw them score 13 goals and concede only two in six matches.
Sundowns opened their campaign with a 2-1 win over Sekhukhune United. This was followed by wins against, Kaizer Chiefs, Golden Arrows, Chippa United, Richards Bay and Polokwane City.
LUCAS RIBEIRO WALKS AWAY WITH PSL PLAYER OF THE MONTH AWARD
Meanwhile, Lucas Ribeiro walked away with the Player of the Month award in August 2023 after his impressive form in the colours of Sundowns.
Ribeiro joined the Tshwane giants during the off-season and he was quick to stamp his authority after scoring four goals in six matches.
The left-footed attacker beat his teammate Ronwen Williams and Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa to the accolade.
Another award for the month of August went to Kaizer Chiefs winger Pule Mmodi after his sublime goal against Stellenbosch FC was named Goal of the Month.
In addition, Mabhuti Khanyeza was named Coach of the Month for September/October after a great run of form with Golden Arrows.
Khanyeza steered Arrows to an impressive unbeaten run in September and October 2023. The KZN-based side beat Sekhukhune United, Kaizer Chiefs and Cape Town Spurs. They scored four goals and conceded only once.
Furthermore, Bradley Grobler clinched the Player of the Month for September/October. Samir Nurkovic won the Goal of the Month award after netting a great goal for TS Galaxy against Sekhukhune United.
