PSL confirm fixture details for Carling Knockout semi-finals
The PSL have confirmed the fixture details for the Carling Knockout Cup semi-finals including the dates, venues, and kick-off times.
Four teams are remaining in the competition with two KZN sides Richards Bay FC and AmaZulu FC hosting Stellenbosch FC and TS Galaxy respectively.
The Natal Rich Boyz welcome the Stellies on Saturday, 2 December at the King Zwelithini Stadium at 3:00 pm. Meanwhile, Usuthu will play at home against the Rockets on Sunday, 3 December at the Moses Mabhida Stadium at 3:00 pm.
The ticket prices are yet to be confirmed.
PSL STATEMENT ON CARLING KNOCKOUT SEMI-FINALS
“The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed the dates, venues, and kick-off times for the Carling Knockout semi-final fixtures,” PSL announced via their website.
“The quest for a spot in the Carling Knockout final will begin on Saturday, 02 December 2023 when Richards Bay FC hosts Stellenbosch FC at King Zwelithini Stadium. Kick-off is at 15h00.
“The identity of the second finalist will be confirmed on Sunday, 03 December 2023 when AmaZulu FC and TS Galaxy FC lock horns at Moses Mabhida Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 15h00.
“Tickets will be sold at TicketPro outlets countrywide. The PSL will advise on ticket availability in due course.”
ROAD TO SEMI-FINALS
In what was a double-header of the two quarter-finals that took place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on the 4th of November, AmaZulu and Richards Bay secured the spots in the last four.
Richards Bay knocked out Orlando Pirates while Usuthu came out victorious against Golden Arrows in the KZN derby.
TS Galaxy eliminated Sekhukhune United on penalties with Stellenbosch beating Polokwane City to march on to the next round.
Meanwhile, PSL also confirmed a few weeks ago that the final would take place on the 16th of December at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
