AmaZulu FC head coach Pablo Franco Martin has drawn attention to what could make their Carling Knockout Cup clash against TS Galaxy even more tough.
Usuthu will meet the Rockets in the semi-final on Sunday, 3 December at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. The winner of that match will face either Richards Bay FC or Stellenbosch FC who take on each other in the first semi-final on Saturday.
The KZN side will welcome Galaxy for the second time this season with the two sides having encountered in the DStv Premiership in August. AmaZulu brushed Galaxy away with a 1-0 scoreline.
Martin says his troops should get over that, insisting it wonโt play a part in the next clash.
The former Real Madrid assistant coach believes AmaZulu and Galaxy have some similar elements in their weaknesses and strengths. Therefore, heโs foreseeing a much more difficult match but exciting on the other hand.

PABLO FRANCO SAYS AMAZULU AND TS GALAXY ARE โVERY EVENโ
โI have no idea, I donโt know if itโs an advantage or a disadvantage [defeating Galaxy in a league match],โ said Martin.
โWe know them well, they know us well, I think we are two teams that are very even in terms of results, strengths and weaknesses.
โWeโre pretty similar, so, from there I know that itโs going to be a tough and exciting game. And I hope that we are playing at our best level.
โThe objective is there depending on the rivals. We played Chiefs and you could have said โyou played them and lostโ but we won that game [Carling Knockout].
โMaybe against Arrows, you could have said, โYou have not beaten them in the last five yearsโ but we beat them [twice]. So, you never know whatโs best but we have to face them again on Sunday.
โWe are willing to take it.โ
