Sead Ramovic has accepted that he can’t keep his best players forever at TS Galaxy but he feels he has figured out how to succeed with the little he has at his disposal.
In the last transfer window, the Rockets lost some of their key players. This includes Given Msimango, Bathusi Aubaas, Tshegofatso Nyama and Melusi Buthelezi.
However, the Mpumalanga-based side has shown little signs of missing them. They have had a fair run in the first round of the DStv Premiership.
Meanwhile, they recently reached the final of the Carling Knockout Cup after defeating AmaZulu FC in the semi-final on Sunday.
Galaxy coach, Ramovic admitted the club had no financial power to keep its best players when moneyed suitors make offers. However, he says his hopes to succeed in SA can’t dashed by that.
He believes having disciplined players, who don’t “party” would be the only way to attain success.

“It’s not so easy like people think with clubs that don’t have financial power,” said Ramovic.
“You have to get players, find players that have great character, great lifestyle because in my team, no alcohol, no partying. If you don’t want to do this, you’re out.
“If we want to improve, if we want to succeed, we need [such] players because soccer career is short. It’s not 50 years, it’s about ten years, eight years or 12 years and if you’re lucky 15 years.
“You will not always see players like [Bernard] Parker that stands so long in this business. You will not see players like Vuyo but if you watch the lifestyle they are having, it’s just amazing.
“That’s stay so long. So, if the players understand this that if we are here, we’re not here for fun. I didn’t come here far away from my parents, brothers, sisters and friends just to have fun. I’m here to work hard and have success.”
Ramovic revealed how he constantly put maximum effort into helping his side prosper. He says the staff and players also have to do the same everyday.

“So, I need players and staff that repeat the best they can do. Everyday, I [wake up] at 6:00 in the morning, watch games and analyse before the training.”
“Every session we do, we record, cut clips and show players where they can improve. It’s hard work, it’s 24 hours but this is the only way to increase the chances to win.
“If you don’t do these things, you will be replaced soon.”
