HOW BAD IS THULANI HLATSHWAYO’S INJURY?

Hlatshwayo is expected to be on the sidelines for three to four weeks before he’s expected to return to training.

The ex-Orlando Pirates man has since come forward to divulge the details about his injury.

“I did my scans on Monday because we had to travel back from Polokwane, as we played there over the weekend,” said Hlatshwayo in a virtual interview with Newzroom Afrika

“It was found out that I have torn my ligaments on the inside of my ankle. So, I managed to do an operation [surgery].

“How they explained to me, they said it was a minor operation. So, I’m now on the cast for about three to four weeks.”

Hlatshwayo went on to state that he only hopes for the best for his speedy recovery to return on time, and do what he loves the most, which is playing football.

“When I take out the cast I will be on post-op boot. I’m hoping that I will be back as soon as possible,” he concluded.
