MANDLA MASANGO AND HAPPY JELE PREDICTIONS

Masango and Jele, the tournament’s ambassadors, have had their say in who they would like to see win on the day.

“Honestly, I would want to see the All-Stars team win. I would want these younger boys who will be rubbing shoulders with the likes of Itumeleng Khune, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Njabulo Ngcobo, Phillip Ndlondlo, etc,” Masango told FARPost

“Also for them to have the hunger and the belief that they can be able to conquer anything if they put their mind to it.

“It’s good for them to be part of this ever-growing Carling Cup and as well as for the fans with the R900k up for grabs where you predict which team will score first. That on its own will help the supporters to come in numbers.”

Interestingly, the former Orlando Pirates skipper, Jele, shared the same sentiments with the ex-Kaizer Chiefs midfielder.

“For me, I would like to see All-Stars win. I would like to see the way the mix of players are going to gel together,” added Jele.

“Also, I would like to see the youngsters doing great for themselves and raising their hands to say I’m ready to play in the senior team. And just to go out there to have an entertaining game for themselves.”
