AmaTuks complete signing of ex-Sundowns defender

Motsepe Foundation Championship side AmaTuks have completed the signing of an ex-Mamelodi Sundowns defender.

AmaTuks ended 2023 on a high as they occupy second spot on the league table in the Motsepe Foundation.

The Pretoria-based side won seven games, drawing seven while losing three times after 17 matches played. Tuks accumulated 28 points and they are two points adrift of log leaders Orbit College FC.

At the start of the 2023/24 campaign, AmaTuks made a handful of signings to boost their chances of gaining promotion to the DStv Premiership.

Amongst players who were signed by the Students are Edward Maova, Bongolwethu Siyasi, Ayanda Dlamini, Athenkosi Tonisi, Sihle Gum, Tshepang Makara, Sapholwethu Kelepu, Tebogo Makungo, Thulani Zandamela, Siyavuya Mdevulana, and Thabang Sibanyoni.

With the January transfer window currently open, Tuks have beefed up their squad with an ex-Sundowns defender.

AMATUKS COACH TLISANE MOTAUNG CONFIRM THE SIGNING OF HAROLD MAJADIBODU

AmaTuks completed the signing of Harold Majadibodu who has been on trials at the club in the past few months. Majadibodu signed on a free transfer after parting ways with Richards Bay FC last season.

The 28-year-old defender joins Tuks for the second stint after he was on loan at the club during the 2020/21 season from Masandawana.

“Harold Majadibodu will be the AmaTuks player in the second round of the 2023/24 season,” the club head coach Tlisane Motaung told FARPost.

“You know he has been training with us for quite a long time and we felt that we should bring him on board. He’s an experienced defender and his experience can help us a lot because we are thin in that position.

“If you look at our defensive line, we really don’t have enough experience. That’s why the signing of Majadibodu is important.”
