Senegal managed to secure a 3-1 win over Cameroon to book a spot in the Round of 16 at the CAF AFCON tournament on Friday night.
The Group C showpiece took place at Stade Charles Konan Banny de Yamoussoukro.

Meanwhile, Habib Diallo added to the scoreline in the 71st minute of the game, whereas Sadio Mane scored the third goal in the last minutes of the game.
SENEGAL BECAME THE SECOND NATION TO QUALIFY FOR THE LAST 16
The Lions of Teranga have become the second nation to qualify for the Round of 16 at the AFCON tournament. They made it two wins from two outings in Group C.
Cape Verde became the first side to book a spot in the last 16 at the competition after thrashing Mozambique 3-0.

Jean-Charles Castelletto scored the consolation goal for Cameroon in the 83rd minute.
Sadly, Cameroon couldn’t get back in the game.

Sadio Mane did what was expected of him. He had a bigger role in this tie given his extensive experience of the beautiful game.
Mane helped his side secure a victory against Cameroon to advance to the Round of 16.
