South African coach earmarked to take over at a Ghanaian side
Ghanaian side Real Academicals have reportedly earmarked South African coach Machete Willy Moloto for the head coach position.
Moloto, who has been at clubs such as Polokwane City, has been offered a six-month deal, as per the reports.
Real Academicals currently participates in the Ghana second division and have ambitions of gaining promotion to the Ghana Premier League.
Moloto was strongly linked with a move to Marumo Gallants after his departure at Pretoria Callies together with Kwanele Kopo earlier this season. But this publication has established that Moloto might be jetting out of the country in the next few days.

“Yes, my brother. It’s a privilege, and it shows that when we work hard here in South Africa, there are people that recognise us,” said Moloto when asked about the pending move.
“They admire our work, and the impact that made this person come and look for me is because of the work that I have been doing with the clubs that I have worked with. The talent that I discovered and coached,” he said.
“The main reason for me to go that side is to get them promoted. But they are also looking at a bigger picture so all they want is for me to come and help them team. It’s one of those things that caught me by surprise, but I am still weighing my options.”

“There are a few offers inside the country that I am looking at and I have also explained to the club. There are two PSL [DStv Premiership] teams and two NFD teams.
“I was supposed to join another one, but due to some logistics, we had to hold on a bit. But I am privileged and looking forward to what happens in the next few days.”
