Orlando Pirates midfielder Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo has identified the element of his game that needs improvement ahead of the resumption of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership campaign.
Ndlondlo joined Pirates in September 2022 from Marumo Gallants after helping the club reach two Nedbank Cup finals.
During his time at Gallants, Ndlondlo made 72 appearances in all competitions. He scored 16 goals and contributed two assists.
The 28-year-old star has had a slow start to life with the Buccaneers after managing to score just three goals in his 45 appearances. In the current season, Ndlondlo has featured in 21 matches in all competitions, scoring one goal while making two assists.
The attacking midfielder has also won two MTN8 trophies and one Nedbank Cup since joining the Soweto giants last season.
NDABAYITHETHWA NDLONDLO AIMING TO IMPROVE HIS GOAL CONTRIBUTION
Despite establishing himself as a fan-favourite at Pirates with his dribbling abilities, Ndlondlo has pinpointed where he needs to improve.

“I’m not entirely happy, but with the glimpse I’ve shown, at least I’m showing that I’m getting somewhere. There’s always room for improvement, which is going to be done in the second round of the season,” Ndlondlo said.
Asked which part of his game he want to improve, the skilful midfielder said: “Providing more assists for the team, more goals for the team. Also helping the team to win more games.”
Pirates were scheduled to welcome Chippa United at Orlando Stadium in a league match on Tuesday, 13th February.
However, the PSL announced that all the midweek matches in the DStv Premiership have been postponed as Bafana Bafana players will only land in South Africa on Wednesday from a successful AFCON showpiece in Ivory Coast. The league will announce new dates for the postponed matches.
