Former Chiefs defender joins Marumo Gallants technical team

Marumo Gallants have roped in former Kaizer Chiefs defender Rodney Thobejane into their technical team.

Thobejane joins the Motsepe Foundation Championship club after a stint as coach of SAFA Limpopo ABC Motsepe League side Ngwaabe City Motors.

He has been roped in as an assistant to Mpho Maleka, who recently took over from Steven Polack. FARPost has gathered that the club had initially earmarked Willy Moloto and Papi Zothwane for the assistant coach role.

But Moloto has since joined Ghanaian side Real Academicals, where he is set to be unveiled next week. Zothwane, on the other hand, has joined Leopards as an assistant to Solly Luvhengo.

Nthatheni has had stints at Polokwane City and Black Leopards. He was recently in the books of Venda FC but did not feature in a single game.
