Chiefs, Pirates without some players for Nedbank Cup Last 32

Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will be forced to make changes in their starting line-ups as some of their regular players are unavailable for the Nedbank Cup Last 32.

The defending champions, Pirates will take a trip to Mpumalanga, where they will face the ABC Motsepe League outfit Crystal Lake FC. The match will be played on Saturday, 24 February at Mbombela Stadium at 15:00.

Chiefs open their campaign at home against the Motsepe Foundation Championship side Milford FC at FNB Stadium on Sunday 25 February, with kickoff set for 18:00.

MIGUEL TIMM AND SIFISO HLANTI SUSPENDED FOR NEDBANK CUP LAST 32

The Bucs midfield engine Miguel Timm will miss the Nedbank Cup opener after he was sent off in their last match against Sundowns.

In the encounter, the Bafana international picked up two yellow cards. This campaign, the 32-year-old has played 18 games in all competitions.

Kaizer Chiefs will be without their first-choice left-back Sifiso Hlanti after the 34-year-old picked up four yellow cards.

The former Bafana Bafana defender was first cautioned in a match against Cape Town City FC in the MTN8. He then got three yellow cards in the DStv Premiership in matches against Mamelodi Sundowns, AmaZulu FC and Royal AM.

Hlanti has been a regular starter for the Glamour Boys this season, making 15 appearances in all competitions and scoring one goal.

OTHER PLAYERS SUSPENDED FOR NEDBANK CUP LAST 32

Chippa United will be without right-back Sirgio Kammies, while Maritzburg United will be without defender Siphamandla Nzuza.

Midfielder Nkosinathi Nkosi of Platinum City Rover will be missing in action. On the other hand, Polokwane City FC will have to make three changes. The trio of Langelihle Ndlovu, Oswin Appollis and Tlou Nkwe are all suspended.
