Nedbank Cup Last 16 draw confirmed

The PSL have confirmed the Nedbank Cup round of 16 draw following the conclusion of the mouthwatering Last 32 fixtures on Sunday, February 2024. 

The draw was conducted on Monday, 26 February, and was televised live on SuperSport channel 202 this evening. 

In what was deemed to be the biggest upset of the Nedbank Cup round of 32, Kaizer Chiefs succumbed to a 5-4 defeat to the Motsepe Foundation Championship side Milford FC on penalties following a 0-0 draw after extra-time at FNB on Sunday evening.

Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns and defending champions Orlando Pirates are still in contestation after defeating NB La Masia and Crystal Lake respectively.

Bafana Ba Style cruised their way into the Last 16 after hammering La Masia with a 6-1 scoreline at Dobsonville Stadium, while the Buccaneers crashed Crystal Lake 6-0 in Mbombela.

On the other hand, AmaZulu FC advanced to the Last 16 after claiming the KwaZulu-Natal derby bragging rights following their 1-0 slender win over arch-rivals Royal AM at King Zwelithini Stadium.

Pirates, Sundowns, Sekhukhune United, Stellenbosch FC, SuperSport United, AmaZulu FC, TS Galaxy, Moroka Swallows, Richards Bay, Chippa United, AmaTuks, Milford FC, Maritzburg United, Hungry Lions, D’General and FC Ravens are the 16 teams that progressed to the round of 16.

THE DRAW PROCEDURE 

All club names were placed in one pot, with no seeding.

In each sequence, the first ball that was drawn was conspired as the home club and the second ball will be their opponent [the away club]. 

This process was repeated until all fixtures were finalised.

Sekhukhune United v AmaZulu FC

Orlando Pirates v Hungry Lions
