Gift Motupa finds a new club
Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Gift Motupa has found a new club, days after he stopped training at SuperSport United.
Motupa has been in search of a new team after being released by Sundowns last month.
The 29-year-old has now returned to his former side Baroka FC. The promotion chasers unveiled Motupa at their base in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo on Tuesday.
Motupa has signed until the end of the season and has already started training with the rest of the team on Tuesday.

Club boss Khurishi Mphahlele has told FARPost that the club wants nothing but promotion this season, hence the signing.
“It’s our bold statement to say we want to go back to the DStv Premiership,” he said.
Mphahlele couldn’t hide his excitement about reuniting with Motupa, whom he refers to as his son. “Gift is my son. He is Gift Motupa because of Baroka FC,” he said.

“We helped him go to school here in Lebowakgomo and at the college. So he knows that we have done everything that a father can do when he loves his son.
“So our son is back home. We are very much excited because we are reuniting with one of our own. The one that made this club to be known around the world,” he said. “So we are excited and I don’t have enough words to express how I feel.”
Motupa is the all-time joint leading top scorer at the club, alongside Thabiso Kutumela, both with 28 goals.
It is his third stint at the club. His first was between 2013 and 2015 when they gained promotion to the DStv Premiership before he was signed by Orlando Pirates.
He also spent the 2017/2018 on loan at the club after struggling for game time at the Buccaneers.
