Goodman Mosele on his form, Pirates return
Chippa United midfielder Goodman Mosele has shared what has contributed to his recent form and also opened up on what he anticipates regarding his return to Orlando Pirates.
Mosele is on a season-long loan to the Chilli Boys from the Buccaneers.
He has won four DStv Premiership Man of the Match awards so far in 17 matches. The 24-year-old’s fine form has also seen him return to the Bafana Bafana squad.
WHAT HAS CONTRIBUTED TO GOODMAN MOSELE’S FORM AT CHIPPA UNITED?
“It’s my fellow teammates; they have been so helpful to me,” Mosele told FARPost.
“I arrived here and settled fast and there was also an understanding from the beginning. So the understanding between me and the players and the coaches.
“I have also been okay; nothing has changed. It’s just that I am just happy to be playing again. I am honestly enjoying myself,” he said.
Mosele worked with the club’s technical director while at Baroka FC in Limpopo. He admits having a familiar face like Morgan Mammila has also been helpful.
“I would say yes because we have known each other for a long time [at Baroka FC]. We get along very well, actually he gets along well with everyone.
“But me and him have known each other for a long time so it’s easy for our relationship to be at a top level. So I can say has contributed to me settling here.”
“The guys here get along very well. There are no egos and all that stuff. We are happy for each other. We help each other a lot at training and during the matches. So it makes it very easy.”
A RETURN TO ORLANDO PIRATES THE LAST THING ON BAFANA BAFNA MIDFIELDER’S MIND
Regarding his future at Pirates, Mosele says he leaves the decision at the hands of the club but is more focused on helping Chippa secure a top-eight spot.
“Obviously I still have a contract with the Buccaneers. So it’s the club that will decide but for now, my focus is on Chippa. We want to make sure that we give people in PE a top eight. Then the rest of the things I will see at the end of the season.”
