Two PSL clubs, DR Congo giants chasing a Jwaneng Galaxy star

Two DStv Premiership clubs and DR Congo giants are angling for the services of one of Morena Ramoreboli star players at Jwaneng Galaxy.

The Jwaneng Galaxy rising star put up a sterling performance when they eliminated Orlando Pirates from the 2023/24 CAF Champions League.

First, they beat Pirates 1-0 in a second preliminary round first-leg match played at the National Stadium in Gaborone, Botswana.

Pirates won the second leg on the same score-line at the Orlando Stadium and the match had to be decided on penalties.

Galaxy were perfect in the shoot-out as they converted all of their spot kicks to beat the Soweto giants.

In the two legs, Zimbabwean forward Daniel Msendami was impressive, leaving as one of the most wanted players in the Botswana League.

Msendami scored Galaxy’s goal in the second preliminary round first-leg match as Pirates were left stunned.

With his contract expiring at the end of June 2024, there could be a stampede for his signature. The player has since indicated his desire to move on after an inspiring stay at Galaxy.

The 23-year has six goals and eight assists for the Ramoreboli coached-side in the 19 matches he played.

Msendami confirmed to FARPost that two DStv Premiership clubs approached his management for his services. SuperSport United is believed to be one of the said clubs.

“I’ve not yet been told the names, but I was told that several clubs want to sign me. I believe, I have done enough to get a good club in the DStv Premiership. So far two clubs have contacted my management and have been following me,” Msendami said.

He also added that a DR Congo giant is angling for his services along with a unnamed team from Tanzania.

“A big team from DR Congo also inquired as well as a team from Tanzania. They inquired after the CAF games.

“All credit goes to coach Morena [Ramoreboli], he made me to be what I am. I’m getting this attention because of him,” he added.
