Tanzanian Premier League side Singida Fountain Gate boss Japhet Mboto Makau has revealed what the future holds for Gadiel Kamagi, who is in Cape Town Spurs’ books.
The 27-year-old is on loan at CT City from Singida. His stay in Cape Town Spurs’ books will officially end on June 30.
Kamagi, who has played for Simba SC, Young Africans, and Azam FC, has eight DStv Premiership appearances under his belt this season.
The talented Tanzanian left-back, who can also be deployed in the midfield, has one goal to his name for CT Spurs. Despite the club’s struggles, he has caught the interest of Sekhukhune United, Orlando Pirates and Chippa United.

Where he is likely to end after the 2023/24 season remains to be seen as the Tanzanian club owner Makau is listening to other offers.
“We have been receiving a number of offers from several clubs in South Africa and elsewhere. So, the club that impresses us is where he will end up. Honestly, he is unlikely to stay at Cape Town Spurs because we are considering all the offers at hand,” Makau told FARPost.
The Singida boss could not reveal the names of the clubs chasing his player’s services in fear of jeopardising negotiations.
In the few appearances he has made in South Africa, Kamagi has given a glimmer of what he has to offer.
At this point, it appears CT Spurs are headed for the relegation chop, looking at how they have fared. They have been rooted at the bottom of the log standings with a paltry 12 points after playing 24 matches.
In those matches, they won and drew three matches, respectively, while losing a massive 18 times. Moreso, they are left with six games to play before the curtain goes down on the topflight league.
