Will Sibusiso Vilakazi stay or go? Sekhukhune decision looms

With the end of the season transfer window looming, there’s a fresh development on the future of Sibusiso Vilakazi at Sekhukhune United.
Vilakazi is in his second season at Sekhukhune after joining the club from TS Galaxy on a short-term deal during the January transfer window of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership campaign.
The abrupt exit from the Rockets came after the attacking midfielder had a fallout with the head coach Sead Ramovic.
After signing with Babina Noko on a short-term contract last year, Vilakazi penned a one-year contract extension at the start of the current season.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns playmaker has been starved for game time after playing only eight games in the league as a second-half substitute. Across all competitions, ‘Villa’ has featured in 13 appearances without scoring a goal or providing any assists.
WHAT’S THE DEVELOPMENT OF SIBUSISO VILAKAZI’S FUTURE?
Vilakazi’s contract at Sekhukhune is coming to an end next month. Indications are that he will not sign a contract renewal.

A source privy to the information has told FARPost that the ex-Bafana Bafana star will be leaving the Limpopo side.
“The number of games he has played tells you that it hasn’t been a good season for him. He didn’t contribute to the team as much as they would have wanted him to. So, he will be leaving,” a source said. “Also, the fact that he is yet to start a match in the DStv Premiership, means that he’s not on the plans of the team going forward.
“I don’t see his situation changing and I can confirm that he will leave come the end of the season.”
