Iqraam Rayners and Patrick Maswanganyi dominate PSL Awards nominations
The Premier Soccer League [PSL] have announced the nominees for the 2024 PSL Awards, with Stellenbosch FC’s Iqraam Rayners and Patrick Maswanganyi of Orlando Pirates dominating the nominations.
Rayners and Maswanganyi secured four nominations each in the upcoming PSL awards. The award ceremony is set to take place next month on a date to be announced.
Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Teboho Mokoena and Ronwen Williams will be against Rayners for the biggest award of the day which is the Footballer of the Season award.
Bafana Ba Style’s Rulani Mokwena will be up against Stellenbosch’s Steve Barker and Jose Riveiro of Pirates for the DStv Premiership Coach of the Season.
Meanwhile, the Referee of the Season, Abongile Tom has been nominated again and this time, he has been nominated alongside Sikhumbuzo Gasa and Philangenkosi Khumalo.
