Morton hopes the club’s youngsters to be approached by some DStv Premiership teams. This will assist them in growth and become more experienced in the game.
On the other hand, Morton, 35, is aware that the club wants to keep their best players so they can quickly bounce back to the DStv Premiership.
“Yea, there are a lot [of youngsters in the team], I can name a whole bunch of players and they are very good, talented footballers,” Morton told FARPost.
“We have talents like [Asenele[ Velebayi, [Chumani] Butsaka, [Ashley] Cupido and [Luke] Baartman in the squad.
“Selfishly, the club would want to keep all their best players. But the truth is these are young professional players who want to play football at the highest level.
“One has to understand why the club would be doing that [refuse to sell players]. It will be interesting to see what the club will decide with the youngsters. The club wants to bounce back from the NFD as quickly as possible and get to the top.”
