A Royal AM attacker who is out of contract has discussed his future following the conclusion of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season.
The KZN-based side had a season to forget after finishing 13th on the log standings in the just-ended campaign. Royal AM won nine league games, drawing six and losing 15 times, and they collected 33 points in 30 matches.
Royal AM nearly fell into the PSL Promotional Playoffs, but they survived on the last day of the season, with Richards Bay FC finishing 15th on the log standings.
Thwihli Thwahla are in their third season in SA’s top-flight after buying the status of Bloemfontein Celtics in 2021.

Royal AM attacker Motebang Sera, who is out of contract, says he will go back to the club to hold talks with the management about his future.
The Lesotho-international striker featured in 21 matches for Royal AM, scoring one goal while providing three assists.
“My contract is finishing now in the off-season, but we are negotiating with the team; I’ll be meeting the team right after the [2026 FIFA] World Cup qualifiers. So I’ll be meeting with the team and just hear what’s the proposal,” Sera told FARPost.
The 29-year-old forward further discussed his chances of staying at Royal AM, revealing that it would depend on several factors.
“It will depend on the communication between me and the team, what is on the table and the vision going forward.”
Meanwhile, as previously reported by this publication, the Shawn Mkhize-owned club will also part with former Orlando Pirates midfielder Menzi Masuku.
