Helman Mkhalele names 50-man Bafana preliminary squad for COSAFA Cup

Bafana Bafana assistant coach Helman Mkhalele has named his 50-man preliminary squad for the 2024 COSAFA Cup.

The Southern African competition will be held in SA from Wednesday, 26 June, to Sunday, 7 July. COSAFA have yet to announce the venue and kickoff times.

Last year, Bafana were coached by Jwaneng Galaxy mentor Morena Ramoreboli, who led the national team to a third-place finish.

On Friday, SA learned the opponents it will face in the tournament. They are in Group A alongside Mozambique, Eswatini, and Botswana.
