Magesi FC and Peter Koutroulis to part ways?

The future of well-travelled administrator Peter Koutroulis at the newly promoted side Magesi FC is uncertain, FARPost has learnt.

Koutroulis joined Magesi at the beginning of the recently concluded 2023/24 season as a technical advisor.

Following Magesi’s promotion to the DStv Premiership, the former Mamelodi Sundowns official had indicated that he still needs to sit with the Limpopo club’s hierarchy to map a way forward regarding his future.

WHAT PETER KOUTROULIS SAID ABOUT HIS FUTURE AFTER MAGESI FC PROMOTION

“I am going to sit down with my chairman [Solly Makhubela] and plan for the next steps going forward,” said Koutroulis.

“We need to be more professional in all the departments. We need to sign good players. At the end of the day, we promoted the club, and that is because the chairman of the club gave me freedom.

“From the start of the season, when we had the press conference, I was positive, and I said we would meet when the PSL fixtures come out, and no one believed me. I love my job, I am a fighter, I put a good structure and we promoted Magesi,” he said at the time.
