Dipsy Selolwane reveals secret behind Ramoreboli’s success in Botswana
Botswana legend Diphetogo ‘Dipsy’ Selolwane has heaped praise on Morena Ramoreboli, revealing why he has been a cut above the rest.
Coach Ramoreboli has emerged as one of the most sought-after coaches at the moment following his good fortunes at Jwaneng Galaxy.
Deservedly, Ramoreboli is among the coaches that are being targeted by the club. And Sekhukhune United has been on top of the list after they parted ways with Lehlohonolo Seema.
First, he helped them win two Botswana league titles on the trot, plus their maiden Orange FA Cup in the just-ended season
Secondly, he was named Orange FA Cup Coach of the tournament. In addition, midfielder Daniel Msendami was the Player of the tournament.
Furthermore, he has led Galaxy to good strides in the CAF Champions League, where they also stunned Orlando Pirates and Wydad AC along the way.

And the Botswana legend ‘Dipsy’ Selolwane has heaped praise on the 43-year-old coach, revealing why he has been a cut above the rest in Botswana.
“I know him. It’s more about his personality. How he gets into good mutual father figure relations with his players is something special,” Selolwane told FARPost.
“And what makes it tick is the fact that he is in charge of a team with a strong support system. A straightforward vision. And then they have clear ambitions.
“At a personal level, he is grounded and his personality suits well with the club. A person who has a rare ability to forge good relations with anyone, players included, makes a great coach.
“That is why you see there is a good rapport. For me, that is what makes him different from the rest.
“And what makes it special is how he has become a hero, away from his homeland [South Africa]. He has mastered the art of conquering away from home.”
‘DISPY’ SELOLWANE ON RAMOREBOLI’S FUTURE
Moreover, as clubs circle the shrewd tactician, Selolwane has had his say on what could potentially be Ramoreboli’s exit from Galaxy.
“Equally important, no one can make choices for him. In the end, he knows what’s better for him. Moreso, I think he is on an upward trajectory at Galaxy.
“It’s a combination of a good coach, good structure at club level and a set of good players, that’s the best combination needed in football. Next to that, there is success.
“They have the potential to go far in the CAF Champions League. The team has less than ten years in the league but so far they have done exceptionally well. I think it would be ideal for him to stay rather than leave. Finally, as I said, no one can decide for him,” Selolwane added.
