Morena Ramoreboli extends Jwaneng Galaxy contract
Morena Ramoreboli has signed a contract extension with Jwaneng Galaxy, ending speculation about his future.
Galaxy officially confirmed the contract extension through a statement released on the club’s social media platforms.
The news comes as a relief to the Botswana Premier League champions’ fans, as Ramoreboli’s previous contract was set to expire on June 30, 2024.
Ramoreboli, a highly respected figure in Botswana football, has been instrumental in Galaxy’s recent successes. Since joining the club in 2021, he has led them to back-to-back league titles, an Orange FA Cup victory, and two appearances in the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
His tactical acumen had attracted DStv Premiership clubs Sekhukhune United and Marumo Gallants, who were keen to enlist his services.
However, he snubbed both clubs as well as Uganda’s Vipers FC, and the contract extension is a testament to the mutual trust and respect between Ramoreboli and the Galaxy management.
The length and terms of the new contract have not been disclosed.
