Victor Letsoalo completes move to TS Galaxy

Victor Letsoalo has completed his move to another DStv Premiership side, TS Galaxy, after parting ways with AmaZulu FC, FARPost has learnt.

Usuthu confirmed the departure of the Bafana Bafana International on Friday, 28 June 2024.

Letsoalo joined the KwaZulu-Natal outfit in July 2023 from Limpopo club Sekhukhune United.

In the just-ended PSL campaign, the 31-year-old frontman had a slow start at Usuthu, but he eventually earned his place in the team after he became more accustomed to their environment.

Letsoalo featured in 22 games across all competitions for AmaZulu in the 2023/24 season and managed to score three goals. His contributions to the KZN club helped them to finish the season in position 11 after collecting 36 points from 30 outings.

This publication can confirm that the Limpopo-born goalscorer has penned a two-year deal with the Mpumalanga-based side – Galaxy.

Despite the Rockets being slapped with a FIFA ban to sign new players due to a payment dispute with the Ivorian player Bernard Yao Kouassi, Galaxy are in the process of sorting out the issue before the new season could commence.

Letsoalo’s signing comes after the uncertainty of Samir Nurkovic at the club. The ex-Kaizer Chiefs man played an important role within Galaxy’s squad having found the back of the net on 10 occasions from 29 matches in all competitions.

According to local reports, Nurkovic has attracted the interest of AmaZulu FC, who are said to have enquired about his services as Usuthu aim to strengthen their frontline for the new term.

However, there is still no indication of whether Galaxy wants to sell him, despite the rumours linking the Serbian striker to AmaZulu.
