Sekhukhune United have bolstered their midfield options ahead of the new season with the signings of Keletso Makgalwa and Relebogile Mokhuoane.
The club announced the arrivals of the two players on Sunday, sending a strong signal of their intent to compete in the upcoming campaign.
As reported by FARPost, Makgalwa, a versatile midfielder known for his creativity and work rate, joins Babina Noko after a successful stint with Motsepe Foundation Championship side Upington City.
He was one of the leading attackers in the second-tier league, with 11 goals in 23 matches last season.
The 27-year-old brings a wealth of experience to the Sekhukhune squad, having featured in over 90 matches in the SA elite league, including in the CAF Champions League.
The attacker also played for Mamelodi Sundowns, Moroka Swallows, TS Galaxy, Maritzburg United, and the now-defunct All-Stars.

Mokhuoane, on the other hand, arrives from Cape Town City FC in a deal that saw Mokotjo head in the opposite direction. The 29-year-old midfielder made 18 appearances in all competitions for CT City last campaign.
He also had a spell at Free State Stars before the club was relegated from the DStv Premiership a few seasons ago.
SEKHUKHUNE ANNOUNCE ARRIVAL OF Makgalwa and Mokhuoane
“Sekhukhune United are delighted to announce the signing of midfielders Keletso Makgalwa and Relebogile Mokhuoane. Welcome to the Babina Noko Family,” reads the club’s statement.
The duo become the fourth and fifth signings for Babina Noko in the current transfer window, highlighting the club’s proactive approach to strengthening the squad.
Just days ago, Sekhukhune made a statement by welcoming experienced midfielder Thabang Monare from Orlando Pirates. They further strengthened their squad with the acquisitions of goalkeeper Loydt Kazapua and left-back Vuyo Letlapa.
The arrivals of Monare, Makgalwa and Mokhuoane address a key area for Sekhukhune, who were looking to add depth and quality to their midfield following the departures of 13 players, including Mokotjo, Edwin Gyimah, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Collins Makgaka, and Rally Bwalya.
Both players are expected to compete for starting positions in coach Peter Hyballa’s squad, with their arrival increasing competition for places in the Sekhukhune midfield.
