Chippa United confirm two more signings
Chippa United continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new PSL season as they have confirmed the signings of two more players.
As reported by FARPost a fortnight ago, the Chilli Boys officially confirmed the acquisition of Seun ‘Tower’ Ndlovu from Kruger United.
The Gqeberha-based outfit also completed the signing of attacker Boy Madingwane from Baroka FC.
Chippa spotted Ndlovu at the 2023/24 ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs held in Upington, Northern Cape last month. His stellar displays in Kruger’s colours did not go down the drain as he was named the Player of the Tournament at the national playoffs.
The talented centre-back played in all games [four] for the Mpumalanga-based outfit at the SAfa’s national playoffs and guided his side to the finals.
As a result, Kruger secured promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship, having finished as one of the finalists in the national playoffs.
Unfortunately, Kruger suffered a 2-0 defeat to Eastern Cape’s Highbury FC in the final.
Meanwhile, Madingwane is expected to add value to the Chilli Boys’ attacking options following his decent displays in Baroka colours.
The 22-year-old footballer managed to feature in 11 games for Bakgaga last season, helping them finish in position three with 47 points after 30 games and qualified for the PSL Promotional/Relegation Playoffs.
Madingwane also had a stint with SuperSport United’s DStv Diski Challenge [DDC] side back in 2022.
