Marumo Gallants sign Zimbabwean winger

DStv Premiership side Marumo Gallants have confirmed the signing of Zimbabwean winger Daniel Msendami ahead of the new season.

Msendami joins Bahlabane ba Ntwa from Botswana giants Jwaneng Galaxy.

The 23-year-old footballer managed to win two titles with his former side in Botswana last season. Jwaneng completed a double by winning the Botswana Premier League and the Orange FA Cup.

To add to that, it was the first time ever in Jwaneng’s history to win the FA Cup, thanks to the guidance of the South African coach Morena Ramoreboli.

In the last term, Msendami featured in nine games for Jwaneng. Those nine matches came in the CAF Champions League, where he managed to score one goal.

Last week, Gallants confirmed that they have moved to Bloemfontein in the Free State province after purchasing the DStv Premiership status of Moroka Swallows.

The club further stated that they will play their home games at Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium, with big fixtures set to take place at Toyota Free State Stadium.

Gallants will be led by coach Dylan Kerr in the upcoming season. Kerr previously helped the club reach the semi-finals of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup, where they were eliminated by Tanzanian giants Young Africans.

OTHER PLAYERS BEING ASSESSED BY MARUMO GALLANTS

As first reported by FARPost, Gallants are also assessing former Masandawana defender Nicholus Lukhubeni, ex-Amakhosi players Kamohelo Mahlatsi and Kgotso Moleko, and Edwin Gymah, who recently parted ways with Babina Noko.

In addition, Bahlabane ba Ntwa are also assessing former Stellenbosch FC attacking midfielder Nhlanhla Mgaga, who is currently training with the team.
