Menzi Masuku signs for Golden Arrows after departing Royal AM
Golden Arrows have completed the signing of midfielder Menzi Masuku following his departure from Royal AM, FARPost has learnt.
The 31-year-old parted ways with Thwihli Thwahla at the end of his contract in June. He had been with them since they purchased Bloemfontein Celtic’s status in 2021.
Masuku has been one of the key players for the Pietermaritzburg-based side, especially with the club’s inability to sign players due to FIFA transfer bans that were imposed on them.
According to FARPost sources, Masuku’s transfer to Arrows is a done deal as he returns to his home town Durban ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 season.
He’s expected to reinforce the midfield of Abafana Bes’thende which is currently comprised of the likes of Velemseni Ndwandwe, Lungelo Dube, Angelo Van Rooi, Olwethu Ncube, Nhlanhla Zwane, and Sazi Gumbi.
