Three more players part ways with Richards Bay FC

Richards Bay FC have parted ways with Malcolm Jacobs, Ntsako Makhubela and Tercious Malepe ahead of the new season.

The Natal Rich Boyz have undergone a major squad overhaul so far, parting ways with over ten players at the conclusion of the previous season.

The KZN side successfully retained its spot in the top division by winning the PSL promotional/relegation playoffs. They’ve turned their focus on making a more powerful return in the upcoming season.

Richards Bay have let go of the above-mentioned trio – Jacobs, Makhubela, and Malepe, who are now part of a lengthy roster of players who have said goodbye to the club.

The 34-year-old ‘keeper Jacobs departs the club after a four-and-a-half-year stay having joined from the former Motsepe Foundation Championship team, Ubuntu FC in 2020.

Meanwhile, both Makhubela and Malepe spent less than six months at Richards Bay after joining in the second round of the last season.
