GK coach Majdi Mnasria in market after departing Golden Arrows

Tunisian goalkeeper coach Majdi Mnasria is in the market following his departure from Lamontville Golden Arrows.

Abafana Bes’thende are among the clubs that have undergone technical team changes just a few weeks ahead of the new season.

The departure of goalkeeper coach Mnasria is one of the significant ones having served the club for quite some time. His exit marks the end of his second stint with the Durban-based club.

UNNAMED PSL CLUB INTERESTED IN GK COACH MAJDI MNASRIA

There’s reportedly an unnamed DStv Premiership club interested in Mnasria’s services as he also seeks to embark on a fresh journey in his career.

He previously worked for El Gawafel Sportives de Gafsa, Stade Gabsien Sports, Averine Sportif de Casserine and Tunisia ES Metlaoui.

Meanwhile, in a bid to bolster their technical team, Arrows recently welcomed a new goalkeeper coach Marcus Mashilo who was in the books of Mamelodi Sundowns.

Mashilo departed from Sundowns after dedicating 11 years of service to the Tshwane-based team.

Additionally, Arrows have also reinforced their goalkeeping department with the signing of Edward Maova from AmaTuks while Ismail Watenga comes back for another season-long loan from Mamelodi Sundowns.

Maova was brought in as a replacement for Olufemi Kayode who parted ways with the club at the end of the season.

On the other hand, Watenga, who emerged as Abafana Bes’thende’s number-one goalkeeper last season, will spend his second campaign with the club.

The two aforementioned netminders along with Sfiso Mlungwana and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo will all be vying for the starting position.

HEAD COACH ROLE SITUATION AT ARROWS

Moreover, Arrows were ditched by head coach Steve Komphela a few weeks ago, returning to Mamelodi Sundowns to assume the Senior Coach position following the abrupt exit of Rulani Mokwena.

Mabhuti Khenyeza is currently in charge of pre-season training at the moment with the club yet to indicate what will happen with the head coach vacancy.
