WHY ARE PLAYERS BEING OFFLOADED TO LERUMA UNITED?

Despite earlier reports suggesting that Dondol Stars are leading the race to purchase the Marumo Gallants Motsepe Foundation Championship status.

This publication has now established that Leruma United are the club that has secured the status. This is after Dondol could not reach an agreement with Marumo over the sale of the status.

Leruma United is a former Gauteng ABC Motsepe League club that was relegated two seasons ago. They are now playing in the regional league in the same province. Despite no official announcement, the club is likely to remain in Gauteng, where they will play their home matches.

The PSL are yet to announce the official dates for the commencement of the 2024/25 Motsepe Foundation Championship season.
