Bernard Parker set to take charge against Young Africans

TS Galaxy are set for a shake-up on the touchline as Bernard Parker prepares to take charge for their upcoming pre-season clash against Tanzanian giants Young Africans.

This move comes as a temporary solution for TS Galaxy until the arrival of a new permanent coach.

FARPost has gathered that the former Kaizer Chiefs frontman Parker joined the Rockets in Mpumalanga last night.

Galaxy arrived at Kanyamazane Stadium in Nelspruit on Tuesday for their final training session ahead of the Mpumalanga Premier’s International Cup match against Tanzania’s Young Africans this afternoon [15:00].

This comes after coach Sead Ramovic left the club to finalise his move to the Moroccan side Raja Casablanca. The German mentor is set to join Raja with his technical team from Galaxy including former Moroka Swallows and Nigeria goalkeeper Greg Etafia.

BERNARD PARKER TIPPED FOR DUO ROLE AT TS GALAXY

Parker is expected to be on the bench on Wednesday [today] when Galaxy lock horns with Yanga. He was recently appointed the head coach of the Rocket’s DStv Diski Challenge [DDC] side for the upcoming season.

However, this website has established that Parker is likely to be part of the first team’s technical team permanently following the new developments regarding the coaching changes at the club.

This publication understands that Parker will be added as one of the assistant coaches at TS Galaxy for the new season.

With these new developments, the club’s veteran defender, Vuyo Mere, is expected to be in charge of the Galaxy’s DDC side in the new campaign.
