CLINTON LARSEN EXPLAINS REASONS BEHIND THE NEW ARRIVALS AT THE LIMPOPO CLUB

Larsen explained that recruiting new players wasn’t an easy process for the newbies considering their “budget restrictions”.

I think it wasn’t an easy process to get the players that we wanted, we do have our budget restrictions as well as a club that didn’t allow us to get certain players,” said Larsen.

“But I believe that the players that we brought in are players that can really, really add value to the club, add value in terms of the way we want to play as a team and make the team stronger. We kept players from last season who we believe have the ability to play at this level.

“And we brought in players who we believe have the ability to play at this level.”

Larsen expressed his delight in welcoming players with top-flight experience including the aforementioned Sekgota, Motupa, Mzava, and Mabotja, among others.

“Bringing in some players who have PSL experience will really help us moving forward and dealing with the demands of the Betway Premiership. It’s the difficult league, very strong teams and from the 16 teams, we are the only team with no PSL experience,” he continued.

“We know what we are up against, and we are up for the fight. It’s gonna be a very interesting season, like I said earlier we are here to fight and earn respect.

“I’m sure along the way, we will also cause some upsets as well.”
