What Khabo Zondo thinks of Sead Ramovic as a coach
Experienced PSL coach Khabo Zindo has shared his thoughts about TS Galaxy mentor Sead Ramovic as a coach.
In the past few days, Ramovic was linked with a move away from the DStv Premiership side following interest from Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca. However, the deal didn’t happen as the two parties couldn’t reach an agreement.
Zondo has been without a club after parting ways with KZN based side Royal AM in 2023. A few months ago, he completed his CAF B coaching license. In putting his skill into practical, Zondo joined The Rockets and worked with coach Ramovic and his technical team for a while.
He further expressed his gratitude to chairman Tim Sukazi and Ramovic for the opportunity after many rejections from PSL teams.
KHABO ZONDO’S THOUGHTS ON SEAD RAMOVIC AS A COACH
Zondo has hailed Ramovic as one of the best coaches he knows in the PSL. Ramovic has transformed Galaxy to a different side in the SA top-flight, turning average players into top players. Last season they finished sixth and reached the Carling Knockout Cup final.
Some of the players that Ramovic has worked with include Melusi Buthelezi, Given Msimango, Fiacre Ntwari, Bathusi Aubaas and Lehloholo Mojela.
“I am grateful for the opportunity I got from [Sead] Ramovic, [Tim] Sukazi and the rest of TS Galaxy family,” Zondo told FARPost.
“In the short time I worked with him I learnt a lot, he’s a great coach, he’s humble and a free guy. That guy is going places, TS Galaxy got a great coach there.
“Coach Sead has got a good understanding with his players and technical team members. With that kind of relationship, the team will be successful in the long run.
“Soon a big team will come looking for his services and he will be successful.”
