AmaZulu FC announce new sponsors and unveil new signings

AmaZulu FC have announced two new sponsors after ending a beyond-40-year relationship with SPAR at the end of the 2023/24 PSL season.

Usuthu also parted ways with their sleeve sponsor Grindrod, who was with the club since 2021.

Amandla Mobile and Zungu Investments, owned by the club’s chairman Sandile Zungu, were revealed on Monday as the new sponsors for the Betway Premiership club at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Carl Motaung, Amandla Mobile CEO, attended the event and said that he is happy to form a partnership with AmaZulu while revealing what the company stands for.

“I’m the CEO of Amandla Mobile, a proudly black-owned mobile visual network that stands as a beacon to empower and innovate within the telecommunications industry,” he said.

“In line with our commitment to driving economic transformation and empowering communities, Amandla happens to run on a leading network that is the best covered in the country: MTN. This sponsor signifies a milestone in Amandla’s journey towards creating a more inclusive and connected society.”

Meanwhile, Zungu expressed the club’s delight in partnering with both companies, saying they would use the resources available to them.
