Bafana Bafana star Elias Mokwana has penned an emotional farewell message to Sekhukhune United following his move to Tunisian giants Esperance.

The move to North Africa sees Mokwana becoming the first South African to play for Esperance after he was unveiled by the club on Thursday evening.

He joins the four-time CAF Champions League winners on a three-year deal. “This signing is a testament to the club’s ambition to strengthen its squad with promising and experienced talents,” reads the Esperance statement.

“Mokwana’s arrival only adds to the excitement of the fans, who are eagerly waiting to see him in action in the colours of their team.”
