SA teenager Jonathan Mulaudzi inks two-year deal in Kosovo

A South African teenager, Jonathan Mulaudzi, has penned a two-year with Kosovo outfit KF Llapi.

KF Llapi, a professional football club based in Podujevë, Kosovo, has confirmed the signing of the 18-year-old South African midfielder.

While the promising youngster penned a two-year professional contract with the club, he will initially play for the Under 21 team as they carefully manage his further development.

Mulaudzi’s move to KF Llapi marks an exciting step in his burgeoning football career. He is a product of the SA Football Limited Academy, based in Soweto.

His new club, which competes in the Football Superleague of Kosovo, the top tier of football in the country, is known for its commitment to nurturing young talent.

The decision to have Mulaudzi play for the U21 team underscores the club’s focus on providing him with the ideal environment to hone his skills and reach his full potential.

The young midfielder’s arrival has generated a buzz among KF Llapi fans, who are eager to see him in action. “Jonathan Lufuno Mulaudzi signs with us,” reads the club statement, posted on Instagram on Sunday. “South African defensive midfielder Jonathan Lufuno Mulaudzi has signed a one-year contract with an option to renew for another one year.

“The 18-year-old joins our club from Jabez Football Academy as a footballer with a prospect for the future.
In addition to his position as a defensive midfielder, Mulaudzi can also play as a left and right-wing defender. Welcome, Jonathan.”

Mulaudzi will be keen to make his mark at KF Llapi. He will also look to excel in the foreign league and ultimately earn a spot in the Bafana Bafana squad.
