Following their promotion to the PSL, the club expressed their intentions to play their home matches at the Thulamahashe Stadium in Bushbuckridge. However, the Stadium, which has an artificial pitch, does not meet the required PSL standards.
The club is now forced to play their matches at the Mbombela Stadium, 120km away from their base.
According to the official Motsepe Foundation Championship fixture list released on Friday, Kruger will begin their season away to Hungry Lions on Saturday, 24 August. Their first home fixture will be against Durban City at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday, 31 August.
