The veteran winger trusts the club’s vision that it has for the future and intends to help the side achieve its goals.

The 33-year-old revealed that her objective is to assist her new club win the Turkish Women’s Football Super League and qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Last campaign, the Turkish club finished in fifth place after amassing 57 points from 30 outings.

“Look, the main objective is to help the team win the Turkish Super League this season,” said Morifi in an interview with FARPost from Turkey.

CHUENE MORIFI REFLECTS ON HER MAMELODI SUNDOWNS LADIES’ STAY

Morifi went on to reflect on her seven-year stay at Chloorkop, citing that it has been a wonderful journey. She gave praise to the club’s chairman, Tlhopie Motsepe, for the support.

“It has been a successful stay at Sundowns. I have been with Sundowns since 2017. We all know that Sundowns aim to win every competition we participate in,” she added.

“Overall, I would say we have done quite well, and I still believe the team will do well moving forward with the quality players they have.

“The club took care of me, and the chairman has been a wonderful person and a good leader. He loves the women’s team. Sometimes I feel like he’s too attached to the ladies’ team than the men’s team by the support he gives to the women’s team.”
