Sekhukhune United loan out highly-rated attacker to AmaTuks

Sekhukhune United have loaned out highly-rated attacker Kgomotso Mosadi to Motsepe Foundation Championship side AmaTuks ahead of the highly-anticipated 2024/25 season.

Babina Noko have been one the busiest teams in the current transfer window as they prepare for the upcoming Betway Premiership campaign.

The Limpopo-based side parted ways with a bunch of players including Edwin Gymah, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Ntokozo Mtshweni, Lebogang Mabotja, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya, Tshepo Rikhotso, Kamohelo Mokotjo, Collins Makgaka, Michael Sarpong, Tashreeq Morris, Rally Bwalya, Thamsanqa Masiya, Elias Mokwana, and, Maloisane Mokhele.

Sekhukhune further strengthened their squad with the signing of Keletso Makgalwa, Thabang Monare, Sikhosonke Langa, Lloyd Kazapua, Andy Boyeli, Njabulo Ngcobo, Lindokuhle Mtshali, Relebogile Mokhuoane, Vuyo Letlapa, and, Shaun Mogaila.

Meanwhile, Sekhukhune also showed new head coach Peter Hyballa the exit door due to a ‘sexual scandal’ just a few weeks after the German coach took over the reins.

MOSADI JOINS TUKS ON A SEASON-LONG LOAN

With Sekhukhune United seemingly not done with movements within their squad, they have sent Kgomotso Mosadi on a season-long loan to Tuks.

Mosadi spent one season in the top-flight after joining Sekhukhune from Casric Stars at the start of last season.

The 25-year-old came to Sekhukhune with high expectations after scoring 12 goals in 29 league matches for Casric in the 2022/23 season.

In his first season in the Premiership, Mosadi struggled to replicate the form he had shown at Stars after playing 16 matches across all competitions for Sekhukhune without scoring any goal.

Mosadi will be aiming to regain his form at Tuks and help them gain automatic promotion to the elite league. The Tshwane-based side missed out on the promotion last season after finishing as runners-up behind Magesi FC on the log standings.

AmaTuks will have to push for promotion without the attacking duo of Thabang Sibanyoni and Delano Abrahams. Sibanyoni and Abrahams joined Richards Bay FC and Magesi FC respectively. Tuks also lost their first-choice goalkeeper, Edward Maova, to Golden Arrows.
