Kaizer Chiefs extend Donay Jansen’s stay

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the contract extension of wing-back Donay Jansen ahead of the start of the Betway Premiership.

Jansen, the nephew of former Amakhosi frontman Bernard Parker, has signed an improved three-year deal with the Soweto giants.

The youngster’s football career started to blossom under the Glamour Boys’ Youth Development Academy and played an important role in the club’s DStv Diski Challenge [DDC] team.

The 21-year-old worked tirelessly to impress the senior side’s technical team which resulted in his promotion to the first team last season.

Since his promotion to the senior team, Jansen managed to feature in two games in Amakhosi colours. The club describes the talented wing-back as someone who boasts or brings “flair, speed and creativity to the team defending and attacking flank.”

Amakhosi believes that his work ethic and commitment to what he does makes him a potential star of the future within the club.
