What Given Msimango makes of Inacio Miguel qualities
Kaizer Chiefs defender Given Msimango has revealed what he thinks of Amakhosi’s new signing Inacio Miguel’s qualities ahead of their Betway Premiership encounter against Marumo Gallants.
The centre-back Miguel joined the Soweto giants from Angolan giants Petro de Luanda three weeks ago.
The Angolan international was the fifth acquisition for Amakhosi out of the seven signings they have made thus far. In this transfer window period, the side was strengthened with the services of Fiacre Ntwari, Rushwin Dortley, Bongani Sam, Gaston Sirino, Njabulo Blom, and Bradley Cross.
Miguel is a versatile player, as he does not only play as a centre-back but also as a right-back.
WHAT GIVEN MSIMANGO THINK OF INACIO MIGUEL
The Bafana Bafana international, Msimango, stated that how impressed he is with Miguel having played a few friendlies together, citing that the Angolan defender is a top-quality player.
“Miguel is a quality player of course. I played a few friendlies with him. So, I see what the club saw in him and why they brought him,” said Msimango during the club’s media open day.
“He is a good quality with good tactical quality. He is a leader as well, and he is definitely going to add value to the team and help the club moving forward.”
WHAT FOOTBALL FANATICS CAN EXPECT FROM KAIZER CHIEFS
Msimango further noted what the club’s fans can expect from them in the new season under the new Chiefs’ technical team.
“I think the fans and people at large should have faith in the technical team the club have brought in. We have a good strength and conditioning coach who makes sure our fitness levels are on par,” he added.
“It’s been a very long pre-season, and we have dealt with that well. The friendlies we have played lately have given us an idea of where we are now.
“I guess the best test will come out on Saturday for us to show what we have been working on and deliver good results for the club.”
The Glamour Boys will face Bahlabane ba Ntwa at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein on Saturday, 14 September at 17h30.
