EUGENE ZWANE COMMENTS ON FARPOST CUP
Zwane believes youth tournaments like the FARPost Cup are vital. They provide young players with a platform to showcase their talent and gain valuable experience. He hopes to see more such opportunities for budding footballers in the future.
“It’s a tournament of eight different LFAs here in Johannesburg. Such competitions are so important if we want to take our SA football standard to another level,” Zwane told FARPost.
“This a great initiative from FARPost and Lucky Star. What I like about the FARPost Cup is it gives young boys and girls the opportunity to play and enjoy what they love doing the most; which is football.
“With this, we’re trying to groom these youngsters to become responsible when football becomes their career. There are so many distractions out there. So having such tournaments like the FARPost Cup, helps to keep our children safe.
“In the future, I think it would be nice to have more competitions like the FARPost. It’s at such tournaments that future stars are seen and one day they become top footballers.
