Judas Moseamedi joins Venda FC
Motsepe Foundation Championship side Venda FC have officially signed nomadic striker Judas Moseamedi. Moseamedi has been training with the club for the past two weeks.
The club has been trying to find solutions with regard to their lack of scoring goals this season. They have only scored one goal in the six matches played with one point collected.
WELL-TRAVELLED STRIKER JUDAS MOSEAMEDI FINDS A NEW HOME AT VENDA FC
FARPost has now gathered that Moseamedi put pen to paper this week. He is likely to make his debut when Venda FC hosts Kruger United on Saturday, 19 October at Thohoyandou Stadium. They will then travel to high-flying Casric Stars in their next match.
Another player who has reportedly joined Venda FC is striker Tau Rankoko. Rankoko is no stranger to the club having spent time during the 2021/22 season. He later left to join Pretoria Callies before a move to SAFA ABC Motsepe League side Mpheni Defenders last year.
VLADISLAV HERIC STARTS HIS TENURE WITH UNFORTUNATE RESULT
Meanwhile, Vladislav Heric has been appointed as the head coach at the club, as first reported by FARPost. He took charge in his first match during the 1-0 defeat to Upington City this past weekend.
“I think that one mistake at the back caused us the goal. In the short period of time [since he took over],” Heric was quoted by SuperSport TV.
“I couldn’t prepare anything. So there are certain things that I need to work on with the team.”
The Serbian-born coach says he will use the FIFA International break to correct the mistakes he picked up during his first match.
“There are a lot of things to do. It’s two weeks of preparation, and I believe we will touch a lot of points that we have been missing on the field.”
